A Golden Victory: Chef Rohan Wins at ScotHot 2025

Our talented Chef Rohan Wadke won gold at the ScotHot Culinary Championships in the Modern Day Plant-Based category.

Competing against over 1,000 chefs, Rohan had just 45 minutes to prepare and present two plates of his dish — a true test of skill, composure, and timing under pressure.

The dish was built around the humblest of ingredients, treated with the most patience: the Ayrshire potato, tempered curry leaf, mint and tamarind chutneys, roasted garlic. Proof that plant-based food, done with intent, holds its own at the centre of any plate.
